Q: I’m planning a memorial service for this week and need expedited shipping. Is this possible?

A: Absolutely. The construction process for a Hardwood Urn takes at least 3 days, but we are happy to send it overnight or two-day shipping at cost. Please contact us if you have any concerns about our express service.

Q: I operate a Funeral Home. Can I provide my clients with a Hardwood Urn Co. Keepsake Urn?

A: Yes, we are pleased to provide this option to your clients. Please contact Jeff at jeff@hardwoodurn.com to discuss our reseller options.

Q: Can I bring my own urn to the Funeral Home?

A: Yes. A funeral home cannot require you to buy one of their urns, nor can they charge you extra for using an urn that they didn’t provide (per the Federal Trade Commission’s Funeral Rule). If you wish, bring the urn containing cremated remains to the memorial service, and display in a central place of honor.

Q: How do I transfer the ashes to my urn once it arrives?

A: Ashes from a crematory usually arrive in a plastic bag enclosed in a plastic container. You can easily transfer the plastic bag from the plastic container to the urn without removing the ashes from the bag.

Q: How do returns work?

A: It’s important to us that you are happy with your urn. Because each earn is a commissioned piece of art, we are not able to accept returns. However, we are committed to ensuring your Hardwood Urn is a piece of work that you are pleased with, and we are happy to discuss adjustments to ensure your satisfaction.
